Restaurant Alex Atala is among the 10 best in the world

The DOM restaurant, the chef Alex Atala, won theseventh position of world's best restaurant in the prestigious ranking organized by the British magazine "Restaurant ".

The result achieved by Atala represents a jump of11 positions on the 2010 list and get back theDOM best restaurant in the position of Latin America.

The Danish Noma restaurant, chef Rene Redzepi,remained for the second year on the list, followedby two Spanish homes: El Celler de Can Roca andMugaritz.

In fourth place on the list is Italian and English Osteria Francescana The Fat Duck, HestonBlumenthal, completes the top five.

Ferran Adrià, who last year won this same awardrecognition for best chef of the decade, was off the list this year. He closes the doors of his restaurant,El Bulli in July.
