Fifty years after names like Sergio Rodrigues and Caldas Zanine, contemporary design glows in the Brazilian international market. Rodrigo Almeida, Zanini of Zanine, Julia Krantz, Alfio Lisi, Jader Almeida and Domingos Totora are some of the talents of a new generation who makes furniture with Brazilian face and stands out in the media, events and awards. Designers are the lineage of artists like the brothers, who "pull the queue" of recognition, with the status of pop stars on five continents and put Brazil on the tiny map of luxury.Today, 12 chairs signed by Campana is an auction of the renowned Phillips de Pury, with a bid between $ 45,500 and $ 57,000 each. A chandelier "Chandelier," also "by Campana," will have a starting bid of $ 81,400. They certainly will be also celebrated in Milan next week, when the city hosts the Salone del Mobile.
