Synopsis: Tom is an American doctor who travelsto France to recover the body of her son, Daniel, died in a storm while on the way "El Camino deSantiago, " also known as "The Way of SaintJames", or "Camino de Santiago. "Driven by hisdeep sorrow and a desire to better understand herson, Tom decides to leave California empty his lifeback, and embarks on a historic pilgrimage, acombination of mourning and tribute to Daniel,retracing the path of his son in "Road to Santiago. "During the pilgrimage, Tom finds people aroundthe world (and three in particular), all suffering andlooking for greater meaning in their lives. During"The Way", Tom discovers the meaning of one of the last things her son said. There is a differencebetween the life we live and the life we choose.
