Sohu also reveals that Mark has been talkingfrequently Zuckerber with Robin Li (CEO of leadingChinese search engine) to create a social networking service in that country. However, thenew platform would be independent, without anyintegration with Facebook. But nothing is definite yet, says the source.

"We are studying and learning about China,covering several possibilities that could baneficiarour users, advertisers and developers, " Facebook said in an e-mail sent to Bloomberg.

Currently Facebook is blocked in China, along withother social networking sites and the United States.
