At least 195 people died and more than 200 injured after the Israeli Air Force to launch at least 30 rockets at the facilities of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, medics reported.
Among the dead was responsible for the Hamas police in the region, Taufiq Jaber, sources said.
The attacks came a day after Hamas re-launch missiles against Israel and accidentally killing children in Gaza.
On Friday, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert authorized the reopening of borders with Gaza to the entry of humanitarian aid.
The dead include 120 in Gaza City and another 23 in Khan Younis and Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, medics said.
Unlike the White House did not request that Israel stop attacks and yes, to avoid civilian casualties, authorities around the world have offered assistance to Gaza.
Egypt opened the Rafah crossing on the border with the Gaza Strip to allow humanitarian aid to enter and exit the wounded from the bombing.
